Overview
A company card is a type of smart card issued to transport companies for use with digital tachographs. It serves several functions, including access control to tachograph data (as required by, e.g., EU law).

Company Card Authenticator (CCA) is a piece of software developed by Teltonika that allows to remotely authenticate with a tachograph to download DDD files.

PC Requirements for CCA
For CCA to work properly with TachoSync, the PC on which CCA is installed must always be turned on and online.

PC Requirements for CCA:
* OS: Windows 10; Windows 11.
* CPU: Intel or AMD processor with 64-bit support.
* Disk Storage: 500 MB of free disk space.
* Internet connection: Required for downloading and operation.

TachoSync authentication service IP address and port:
* IP: 3.126.35.133
* Port: 7066

How to Install CCA
# Go to TachoSync.
# Go to "Settings" in the top menu and select "Company Card Authenticator".
# A window opens. Select the latest version and click “Download".
# Open the downloaded file and install CCA.
# Run CCA.
Your card reader is now able to remotely authorize tachograph data downloads.

Jonas.kazlauskas: /* Multiple Rack Configuration */

Introduction
Teltonika WEB TACHO solution can support Single Slot Readers and Multiple Slot Readers. <br>
Single Slot Readers are an effective and cheap solution for small companies, which need to manage only several company cards at a time. One of the limitations with Single Slot smart card readers is that only up to 10 readers can be connected to a single Windows PC or Windows server. This is not a good solution when you are trying to manage multiple dozens of company cards and your business keeps expanding, thus more and more company cards have to be connected to WEB TACHO. <br><br> Teltonika's solution to this issue:
* Ability to connect multiple company cards with a single smart card reader Hyper Card Rack™ to WEB TACHO

Key features and benefits
* No USB limitations on CPU. As you may know, various operating systems allow you to connect a limited amount of card readers at the same time. With the Hyper Card Rack™ solution you will be able to connect up to 6000 company cards simultaneously to one CPU

* Scalable solution. You can add as many modules as you need at a time. You can grow your Hyper Card Rack™ installation when your customer base is growing. Each module supports 30 cards

* Small foot-print - less space used. Having many separate card readers requires a lot of space and creates a mess in your office or maintenance area. Modules can be installed on drawers, walls, or desks

NOTE THAT - Only Hyper Card Rack is supported by WEB TACHO. Standard Card Rack is not supported

Requirements
Requirements for connecting Lisle Hyper Card Rack with WEB TACHO:

* Smart Card Reader Software version 4.0.X.Y or newer. The latest SCard Reader software can be downloaded directly from WEB TACHO in Company Card management section
* The latest .NET Framework version. Download .NET Framework here
* The latest drivers for Lisle. Download Hyper Card system drivers here

Multiple Rack Configuration
<br>

When there is more than one Hyper Card Rack™ 20 or Hyper Card Rack™ 120 connected to the Server or PC, each rack must be configured using "DIP" switches. "DIP" switches can be interpreted as a BINARY more, where:
* the first rack is "0000" (all switches are OFF)
* the second rack is "0001" (only the first switch is ON)
* the third rack is "0010" (only the second switch is ON)
* the forth is "0011" (the first and second switches are ON), etc.

Introduction
Electric vehicle popularity is growing pretty promptly over the past decade, with the global stock of electric passenger cars on roads passing over 5 million. Cities, regional and state governments are starting to promote electric cars to curb CO2 emissions by announcing specially designed projects. For instance, earlier this year the Estonian government has issued €5,000 grants to companies or individuals who buy electric vehicles from Estonian Vehicle Dealers and Services Association AMTEL certified dealers.
<br>
<br>
However, to qualify for this grant, electric car owners in Estonia must cover a minimum of 80,000 kilometers within a four-year period, averaging 16,000 kilometers per year. To monitor compliance, the government has initiated a tender for Telematics Service Providers to install GPS trackers on vehicles, focusing solely on tracking odometer data.
<br>
<br>
Concerns about privacy may arise as tracking devices are seen by some as intrusive. To address this, the Estonian government mandates that only electric car odometer data is tracked, while other parameters and GNSS data remain masked and undisclosed. The question is, how can Telematics Service Providers comply and make it work in situations like these?

Solution description
To deal with such requirements, here at Teltonika Telematics we have developed a pretty smart solution in our GPS devices firmware called Private/Business Driving Mode. At its core, this canny and helpful feature makes it possible to mask vehicle GNSS data. We have implemented this feature as the Teltonika special firmware option, version 03.25.05.Rev.132 or above.

What do you need for a solution?
Installation
<br>
When installing FMB130 in a vehicle, follow the mounting recommendations. When connecting to the CAN bus, you must use the diagrams provided by our technical support engineers. The diagrams indicate in detail and clearly the connection points in the vehicle wiring and the required program number.
As required by the project, the ‘Odometer calculation’ setting option is ‘Enabled’, so it is up and running tracking electric car mileage.
<br>
<br>
In ‘GPS Data Masking’ section, the setting ‘Data sent as Zero’ has been activated. It means the GPS tracker sends GPS data as ‘0’ to a server with the following I/O elements: latitude, longitude, altitude, number of satellites, ‘GSM Cell ID’ and ‘GSM Area Code’ parameters.

As a result, we have met all the project requirements with our GPS tracker Teltonika FMB130 model and firmware settings in no time and without any hassle.
<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>

Introduction
Vehicle theft and related criminal activity is a costly challenge and, despite some fluctuations, it is still on the rise worldwide. Regrettably, globalisation and uneven technological advances have led to a quite dramatic increase in car theft, making some developing countries the attractive markets for cars stolen abroad. Teltonika Telematics is ready to offer a present-day solution to address this important issue.

Solution description
Teltonika Global Connectivity Solution, which at least consists of a SIM card and an IoT Platform to manage it, is designed to connect GPS devices anywhere over a mobile network using the SIM card data plan. As a result, a GPS tracker with a SIM card and a global data plan can connect to the internet worldwide allowing it to manage its functions and information all the time. This ensures constant communication, timely alerts, and relevant data transfer to a dedicated server, and in our case, the most important thing – the trip history details and coordinates to recover the stolen vehicle.
<br>
<br>
Obviously, a GPS tracker must be available and connectable via a mobile network to locate the vehicle of interest. For connectivity, differently from regular local operator plans, we offer one of the most comprehensive Teltonika Global Plan, covering 134 countries and territories around the world as of October, 2023 with up to 3 major network operators available in each country. For that reason, a vehicle with a Teltonika GPS tracker and a Teltonika Global Plan can be located and recovered from the farthest country (obviously, if that country is on the Global Plan coverage list

<br>
<br>
Obviously, a GPS tracker must be available and connectable via a mobile network to locate the vehicle of interest. For connectivity, differently from regular local operator plans, we offer one of the most comprehensive Teltonika Global Plan, covering 134 countries and territories around the world as of May 2022, with up to 3 major network operators available in each country. For that reason, a vehicle with a Teltonika GPS tracker and a Teltonika Global Plan can be located and recovered from the farthest country (obviously, if that country is on the Global Plan coverage list
