RS-232 &amp;#039;&amp;#039;TCP Binary mode&amp;#039;&amp;#039; has additional configurable parameters for advanced data filtering as shown on the right hand side figure.&lt;br /&gt;

====RS-232 Garmin mode settings====&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Garmin FMI mode&amp;#039;&amp;#039; has addditional filtering capabilities. It is possible to filter Ping and Unicode packets. If &amp;lt;span style=color:#F6A83E&amp;gt;Ping Filter&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt; is enabled, then Ping packets are blocked. When &amp;lt;span style=color:#F6A83E&amp;gt;Unicode Filter&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt; is enabled Unicode packets are not sent to the server. Both filters may be enabled for simultaneous effect.&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
