	Starting August 1, 2025, the EU enforces new cybersecurity requirements under the RED directive. Devices with wireless connectivity must prevent unauthorized access (e.g., random SMS login/password), and avoid harm to communication networks. Our firmware already meets these standards (EN 18031), and the only change is that standard products will now be shipped with preconfigured random SMS credentials.
