And it will have to be configured with SMS commands or with a PC via USB.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;

==Adding the commands to the platform.==&lt;br /&gt;
Select a unit, right click it and open properties dialog&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;#039;&amp;#039;NOTE: Make sure that the device is online, this can be seen by the status of the green circle:&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;

After you have opened the properties, navigate to Commands subsection and click + symbol to add new commands.&lt;br /&gt;

All new commands are added in the same way and in total there are 4 commands related to the firmware update, they are displayed in the image below.&lt;br /&gt;

Each command has to be added individually. Instructions provide for each command below.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

==Command to get currently uploaded firmware list.==&lt;br /&gt;
·        Name the command&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
·        Select channel: Virtual&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
·        Select command type: (get_fw_list)&lt;br /&gt;

==Command to send the firmware file to Gurtam server.==&lt;br /&gt;
·        Name the command&lt;br /&gt;

·        Select command type: (send_fw)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Uncheck the field “without parameters” and in the path to firmware file link your firmware file.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

==To update your device first you have to upload the firmware to the Gurtam server.==&lt;br /&gt;
Click on the arrow button and choose command to send firmware.&lt;br /&gt;

In the pop-up window select the command and click ok.&lt;br /&gt;

If firmware already exists in your Gurtam servers then you will get the window as follows, if not you will receive the notification about the upload of the firmware.&lt;br /&gt;

You can check what firmwares you have uploaded by choosing the command Get FW list at the step “2”.&lt;br /&gt;

==To initiate the update of the firmware==&lt;br /&gt;
Should chose Update FW command.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Click on the arrow button and choose command to Update firmware.&lt;br /&gt;

You have to enter the name of the firmware. And enter your APN details.&lt;br /&gt;

Once you click ok, firmware update begins. You can check the status by chosing the FW status command.&lt;br /&gt;

==Configuration of new devices FMB series through Wialon:==&lt;br /&gt;
New devices of the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;FMBXXX&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; series can also send a &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;configuration&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; file and download it from the device using the commands: &amp;#039;&amp;#039;get_cfg, send_cfg&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;
