This chapter explains company and user structure, as well as privileges for user roles.
COMPANY STRUCTURE
FOTA WEB has two tiers of companies.
TIER | USER ROLES | DESCRIPTION |
---|---|---|
Root |
Integrator |
This is a top-level company, usually a Distributor. |
Child |
User |
This is a second level company, usually an end-customer. |
Child companies are their own separate domains, whereas root company oversees all of the child companies.
USER ROLES
Following is a general overview of User roles (privileges) in the FOTA WEB platform.
Unlike integrator, a user cannot create additional companies.
The only other difference between user and integrator, is that the former can not download continuous logs.
