This document describes FMB641 devices firmware improvements, changes, new features implementations as well as current firmware release version.

Firmware versioning

Structure

 FM.VER.[XX].[YY].[ZZ]

Syntax description
- XX – client number. Value range: 00 – Teltonika, 02..99 – Specific clients
- YY – branch number, shows major changes in firmware, i.e. new module support added or new major feature added.
- ZZ – minor changes like small fixes, improvements and new minor features addition.

02.02.17.Rev.11 (Latest firmware release version for FMX641)	2026.06.08	General Resolved high CPU usage that could affect device performance and responsiveness. Fixed AVL records from the SD card no longer being sent until a manual restart. Connectivity & Server Communication Device now checks for and responds to SMS commands while in Online Deep Sleep (ODS) mode. Fixed FOTA WEB update failure after a hard reset when the configured Server 1 address is unavailable. Fixed corrupted UDP data when AVL records exceed 512 bytes Tachograph & DDD Fixed "unexpected file type" error during VDO Gen2v2 DDD file download. Improved WEB TACHO link timeout handling for Stoneridge tachographs — the 15-minute timeout is now extended on each server response, preventing premature disconnection during prolonged authentication (BUSY responses). CAN & LV-CAN Fixed LV-CAN200 not accepting certain program numbers (e.g., 13853); the device now returns the configured value correctly.
