Rules & Alerts

Rules & Alerts page lets you create automated rules to monitor and respond to SIM card and vehicle activity. Set rules to trigger when vehicles cross borders, connect to specific networks, change devices, or reach certain data usage levels.

There are two rule types:

• Eventual Rules – Triggered by events like country entry/exit or network changes.

• Usage Rules – Triggered when data usage reaches a set threshold.

Once triggered, rules can send notifications via Email, SMS, or Webhook, keeping you informed and in control.

Commonly used rules

Creating Auto Top Up rule

Step 1: Go to Rules and create new Usage Rule Step2: In the Rule Triggers select the following settings: When: Data Usage Of: Individually Is greater than: 495 (select MB at the right side) Over the: Current rate Plan	Step 3: Select All SIM Cards

Step 4: In the Actions window select the rate plan that will be applied to the SIM card and Uncheck "Change next billing cycle"	Step 5: Select an email where the notification will be sent

Creating Expiration Monitoring Rule

Step 1: Go to Rules and create new Event Rule Step2: In the Rule Triggers select the following settings: Trigger: Expires from current Rate Plan activation Months Until Expiration Date: 59 (59 months passed)	Step 3: Select All SIM Cards

Step 4: In the Actions window select the rate plan that will be applied to the SIM card and Uncheck "Change next billing cycle"	Step 5: Select an email where the notification will be sent
