This page describes in detail the main menus of TachoSync.
Vehicles
The “Vehicles” menu lists the vehicles and their statuses, allows importing vehicle lists, and configuring tachograph data download schedules for selected vehicles.
The main window displays a list of all vehicles under the current company, along with their parameters:
- Schedules – visually indicates what schedule types apply to the current vehicle.
- Vehicle number.
- IMEI – IMEI of the SIM card installed in the Teltonika tracker attached to the tachograph.
- Device status – status of the Teltonika tracker attached to the tachograph:
- Online – has successfully connected to TachoSync in the last 24 hours;
- Offline – has not connected to TachoSync in the last 24 hours;
- Inactive – has never established a successful connection with TachoSync;
- Deactivated – vehicle is deactivated and will not consume credits.
- Last connection – timestamp of last connection to TachoSync.
- Created by – user that created the entry.
- Created at – time and date of entry creation.
- Updated at – timestamp of last entry information update.
You can also filter objects in this page by name and last download attempt status.
When one or more vehicles are selected, the following actions become available above the list:
- Remove schedules - choose one or more schedules that you wish to remove from the selected vehicles.
- Delete – delete the selected vehicles from the list.
To import a vehicle list, in the top right, go to “More actions” – “Import vehicles”. A sample .csv file can be downloaded to prepare the list.
Drivers
The “Drivers” menu lists the drivers and their last activities, allows importing driver lists, and configuring tachograph data download schedules for selected drivers.
The main window displays a list of all drivers under the current company, along with their parameters:
- Schedules – visually indicates what schedule types apply to the current driver.
- Driver – name given to driver
- Driver ID
- Last activity – type of last driver activity
- N/A
- Break/Rest
- Available
- Work
- Driving
- Unknown
- Not available
- Last connection – timestamp of last connection to TachoSync.
- Created by – user that created the entry.
- Created at – time and date of entry creation.
- Updated at – timestamp of last entry information update.
You can also filter objects in this page by name and last download attempt status.

The “Companies” menu lists the companies, allows creating new ones and configuring company settings.
Users
TachoSync allows defining user roles to conveniently manage their privileges.
Inviting New Users
To invite a new user:
- In the top right of “Users” menu, click “Invite user”.
- In the new window, enter the user details.
- Click “Invite”.
- The new user will get all necessary information via e-mail.
User Privileges
The table below lists privileges for different user roles.
User privilege explanations:
- Create - the user can create the item.
- Read - the user can view (or, in some cases, use) the item.
- Download – the user can download the item.
- Update - the user can update (edit) the details of the item.
- Delete - the user can delete the item.
