AutoGeofence is based on the last known position after the movement has stopped. If your car is being taken away – you can be notified using this function. The shape and size of the geofence zones are set by parameters. It is possible to state whether entering in or out of the geofence triggers an asynchronous message. AutoGeofencing options can be configured by following parameters as depicted in the right hand side figure.
Activation timeout defines the delay between when the ignition is turned off and the creation of AutoGeofence within set Radius value around vehicle's last position. Note that AutoGeofencing does not require entering coordinates, instead it requires GPS visibility.
AutoGeofence can be deactivated by:

  • Digital Input 1 – If DIN1 voltage becomes equal or higher than 6.9 V.
  • Digital Input 2 – If DIN2 voltage becomes equal or higher than 2.1 V.
  • Digital Input 3 – If DIN3 voltage becomes equal or higher than 3.5 V.
  • iButton – if authorized iButton is attached.
  • Power Voltage – if power voltage becomes higher than low voltage level (defined in Ignition settings).
  • Engine RPM – If engine RPM value becomes higher than 0.

Enter Event – Event generation on Geofence entrance.
Exit Event – Event generation on Geofence exit.
On Both - Event generation on Geofence entrance or exit.
