Product change notifications (PCN) is the way of informing customers of upcoming changes related to Teltonika products. This includes outward appearance adjustments, hardware improvements, firmware changes, changes to package contents, etc.

2024.01.05: GNSS antenna changes
We would like to inform you that starting from February 2024, there will be a change in the manufacturing process of our FMC130 devices. We will be transitioning to utilize Surface Mount Device (SMD) manufactured GNSS antennas, which will replace the existing Dual-In-line Package (DIP) technique.

During transition period clients might receive devices with previous DIP manufactured antennas. The transition period can last from February to June.
Since the change of the GNSS antenna is visible visually on PCB, in order to avoid problems at the customs of certain countries, we suggest informing the relevant authorities about the change of the GNSS antenna. The new SMD GNSS antenna provides an equivalent track quality and performance level, as verified through testing. Testing results:

** Testing is done inside vehicle interior. Devices were placed on the carpet, with front passenger seat removed. It is worth noting that GNSS signal is heavily influenced by the exact location device(s) is(are) placed.

We would like to inform you that the side frame for the battery placement is included, helping to determine the exact location of the battery. Also, minor design changes are made to improve both case production and case assembly. These changes affect FMB110, FMB120, FMB122, FMB125, FMC125, FMM125, FMB130, FMC130, FMM130, FMB140, FMB150, FMC150, and FMM150 devices. The updates in the factory are being implemented in February, 2023.
