Wake Up Source

{{{model}}} has two possible wake up sources:

  • Movement Source - Wakes the device up once the configured movement source is detected (DIN1, Accelerometer, GNSS etc.).
  • Ignition Source - Wakes the device up once the configured ignition source is detected (External Power Voltage, DIN 1, Accelerometer etc).

Note: {{{model}}} will always be woken from sleep if movement is detected by accelerometer, despite “Movement Source” setting.

Periodic Wakeup - Value in minutes defining how often device periodically wakes up from configured sleep.

While being in a sleep mode device can save periodical or eventual records and send data to server based on the selected AVL packet priority.

  • High – generated records are immediately sent to server.
  • Panic – generated records are immediately sent to the server, and at the same time an SMS message is sent.

Important Note:
There may be some misconfigurations due to firmware updates as some values of new properties can change the operation of the device. It is recommended to use default values of new parameters to produce expected behaviour.
