This document describes BTSXXX platform devices firmware improvements, changes, new features implementations as well as current firmware release version.

Firmware versioning

  • Structure
BTS.VER.[X].[Y].[Z].R.[#]
  • Syntax description
    • X – major FW version.
    • Y – branch number, shows major changes in firmware, i.e. new module support added or new major feature added.
    • Z – major changes like bigger fixes, improvements and new features addition.
    • # – minor changes like small fixes and improvements.

  • Active Sensor Selection: Users can customize their device by selecting only the sensors they require. This allows users to specify which sensor information is read and advertised, ensuring power-efficient data collection and transmission.
  • 12 character name: Users can now assign names of up to 12 characters. Enabling them to configure their device with a full MAC address as the name.
  • Auto-Disconnect Timer the device will disconnect from applications if not used for longer than 2 minutes without authorizing with PIN or after 10 minutes if inactive after authorizing.
  • Improved pitch and roll response time to give up-to-date data.
  • The device no longer restarts after changing configuration parameters.
