Product change notifications (PCN) is the way of informing customers of upcoming changes related to Teltonika products. This includes outward appearance adjustments, hardware improvements, firmware changes, changes to package contents, etc.

2024.10.03: PCB changes
We would like to inform you that starting from January, 2025, there will be changes in the PCB's modification of our FMB120 devices. These changes affect FMB110, FMB120, FMB130 and FMB230 devices.

Detailed description
Change of mechanical components within PCB:
Replaced the LIS3DH accelerometer on the top layer with an LIS2DH12 on a neighbouring footprint. Additionally, the accompanying capacitors and resistors were replaced.
The bottom layer remains unchanged.

2024.05.24: PCB changes
We would like to inform you that starting from May, 2024, there will be changes in the PCB's modification of our FMB120 devices. These changes affect FMB110, FMB120, FMB130 and FMB230 devices.

Detailed description
The PCB shape has been modified for the following devices: FMB110, FMB120, FMB130, and FMB230. These changes will be implemented during the upcoming factory update.
Components which were too close (less than 1.5mm) to the testpoints were moved away to comply with this requirement.
Overvoltage protection mosfet changed to 2x mosfets with smaller footprint.
Accelerometer LIS2DH12 was moved to top layer and closer to existing LIS3DH accelerometer.
Positioning hole was moved from LTE to BLE antenna.
Components from GNSS antenna feed point were moved away to comply with manufacturing requirements.
Main fuse moved to TOP layer.
Added 1 positioning hole close to GNSS antenna.
Positioning hole near LED's was removed.

2023.11.27: Modifications of PCB shape
We would like to inform you, that shape of the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) for the FMB110, FMB120, FMB130, and FMB230 devices will be altered as part of an upcoming factory update from November, 2023.

2023.02.02: Changes in side frame for the battery placement
We would like to inform you that the side frame for the battery placement is included, helping to determine the exact location of the battery. Also, minor design changes are made to improve both case production and case assembly. These changes affect FMB110, FMB120, FMB122, FMB125, FMC125, FMM125, FMB130, FMC130, FMM130, FMB140, FMB150, FMC150, and FMM150 devices. The updates in the factory are being implemented in February, 2023.

2022.11.01: Base firmware update and PCB design changes
We would like to inform you about the base firmware update for FMB120 starting from November 1st, 2022. New production firmware version will be 03.27.14.Rev.00
1. Clients with special firmware versions or order codes with special firmware will have to update firmware manually.
2. Using old firmware version on updated PCB will cause of 1-wire malfunction.
Suggested implementation plan
1. We highly recommend updating the spec.firmware`s with the latest version in order to support new changes on FMB120 hardware.
2. For further assistance, including the updates of special firmware versions, please contact your Teltonika Telematics sales manager or fill query on HelpDesk.
2022.08.01: Base firmware update
We would like to inform you about the base firmware update for FMB120 starting from August 1st, 2022. New production firmware version will be 03.27.13.Rev.03
Client's special firmware versions or order codes with special firmware will not be updated to latest base firmware automatically. During the transition period clients might receive devices with previous Firmware version used in manufacture.

2021.02.08: Bluetooth® Improvement
We would like to inform you, that Bluetooth® performance for the FMB120 device will be updated in the factory from March 2021.

Due to the new look of boxes we strongly recommend to update your marketing materials. Because of the new color of the packaging box, if necessary, update your branding materials (stickers, logo layouts).

2019.06.14: Device module information display changes
We would like to inform you, that the information display on device module TM2500 will be updated in the factory from July 2019.

Laser printing will increase reliability, speed, and will reduce paper waste.
Product release date
Devices with new module marking will be released in manufacturing from July with 2 months of transition period. Over this period devices with sticker can be delivered as well as devices with laser print.
The change will not affect clients. All the module characteristics will remain unchanged. The only sticker on module will be changed to laser print. The displayed information will remain the same.
