Network requirements
If your SIM cards are within Mobile Operator’s VPN (private APN), the following must be ensured and paid special attention.
Network requirements for FMB family, FMC, and FMM devices
Following domain or IP and ports (egress) must be allowed by the operator:
- Domain: fm.teltonika.lt (IP: 35.156.7.140)
- Ports:
- 5000 (TCP)
- 6000 (TCP)
Network requirements for FT platform (below 2.1.x firmware version) devices
Following domain or IP and ports (egress) must be allowed by the operator:
- Domain: fota.teltonika.lt (IP: 35.156.7.140)
- Ports:
- 5055 (UDP)
- 5005 (TCP) TLS encryption supported
Network requirements for FT platform (above 2.1.x firmware version) devices
To support IPv6, the domains were split for 2.1.x firmware and above versions. Following domains or IPs and ports (egress) must be allowed by the operator:
- Ping:
- Domain: ping.fota.teltonika.lt (IP: 3.123.234.64)
- Port: 5055 (UDP)
- Service:
- Domain: service.fota.teltonika.lt (IP: 3.69.248.238)
- Port: 5005 (TCP) TLS encryption supported
When using VPN SIM cards, we suggest to configure the domain in your configuration, not the plain IP address.
How to access FOTA WEB
FOTA WEB is reached using domain address https://fota.teltonika.lt. FOTA WEB uses HTTPS port 443, so if your network has HTTPS proxy service or is blocking outgoing traffic – make sure that this port is added to exceptions in network proxy service and firewall.
How to reset FOTA WEB password
If you have forgotten your FOTA WEB password or are unable to log in with 2FA due to changes in your phone, phone number, or email address, you will need to reset your password.
1. In the "Sign in to your FOTA WEB account" window, click on "Forgot Password."
2. Enter your email address and press the “Send reset link” button.
3. After that, you will receive a Reset Password email at your email address. If you don’t see it in your main inbox, please check your Junk/Spam folder. It should look like this:
4. Follow the link and reset your password, making sure it meets the following requirements: 12 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, at least one digit, and a special symbol.
5. After resetting your password, return to the FOTA WEB page, enter your email and new password, and you should be able to log in.
Select company
At the top-right corner, you can find the Companies selector button. Pressing on a button will open a list of parent and child companies. Selecting a company allows for filtering resources available such as devices, task groups, groups, users, and files. It is an easy way to separate resources and make sure that you are working with the correct ones. Company selector button behavior:
- When a single company is selected, you will see the company button label change to the selected company's name.
- When two or more companies are selected, you will see a number of companies selected instead of an icon and "Companies" label.
- When nothing is selected, you will see everything available and "All companies" label.
Note: Every company has to be selected individually.

Notifications
Notifications are located at the top-right corner of the page. Stay informed with timely notifications on action failures and key information. Success notifications are sent only on background actions that takes more than 15 seconds and user selects to get notified when background action is completed.

FOTA WEB availability expectations
Due to factors like system load and device network quality, Teltonika Telematics cannot guarantee immediate FOTA WEB task execution. To ensure optimal FOTA WEB performance, we recommend the following:
- Scheduled Updates - Devices should follow a configured schedule on your devices to avoid overwhelming the system.
- Staggered Deployment - Minimize simultaneous "web_connect" requests from multiple devices to maintain optimal system responsiveness and prevent peak server loads.
By adhering to these guidelines, you can maximize the efficiency and reliability of your device's updates using FOTA WEB.
